Discount lawn care for Cedar Brook!

The landscaping company that takes care of Cedar Brook's entrance area and roundabout, A Clean Cut Lawn and Landscaping, is again offering discounted rates to neighborhood residents. The company owner, Kevin Beene, is conscientious about his work and professional in his approach to landscaping and lawn care. Plus, the crews from A Clean Cut usually come through Cedar Brook on Fridays, so your lawn can be neat and clean for the weekends.

A Clean Cut will mow and trim any yard in Cedar Brook for $25 per mow. Fertilizer treatments cost $35 each or $210 for a full year's worth of six treatments. Aeration runs $40.

Kevin's company also does landscaping, planting, power raking, tree trimming and other projects. So if you've got something in mind that you don't want to tackle yourself, give them a call or e-mail them, and tell them you saw the ad on Cedar Brook's blog.

A Clean Cut Landscaping can be reached at 402-680-4604 or kevin@acleancutomaha.com.

Springtime fun

Greetings!

After our long, snowy winter I'm sure you're all just as eager as I am for some sunshine and warm temperatures. Now that our snow drifts have finally melted, be sure to grab a broom or rake and get that road gravel out of your yard. I'm sure the grass will thank you. And if you spot any trash that had been hiding under the snow, please pick it up. We all want our neighborhood to look nice, and we all benefit if we work together to take care of it.

As we move into spring, I'll be looking for a good weekend to plan the annual neighborhood garage sale. If you have any date suggestions, let me know at cedarbrookhoa@gmail.com. The association will pay for advertising in the World-Herald and signage to help direct folks into the neighborhood, and anyone who wants to can participate. And in June, the association will be sending out the annual dues mailing. If you have any suggestions to improve the association or the neighborhood, please let me know.

Cheers,
Josh
